So, Pokemon X/Y! Looks amazing, so I felt inspired to draw the female trainer that features in the game. All I had to go on was a couple of small blurry images, so her official art will probably look way different.

Doing the lines, I saw her as a bit of a cowboy/carmen sandiego design but after further looking she seemed to be more of a classy, french looking design..

I wonder what her name will be? What even is she, X or Y? Females have two X chromosomes, so maybe...

I love how fennekin is on her shoulder :squee: I especially love this picture because I'm picking fennekin as my starter, wouldn't it be so cool if the pokemon could walk with us again >w< :love: I'd adore that.

yes! lately the females designs have been getting better. sorry to the guys but they look so annoying in the last gen. in anime form they are ok but sprite wise. I always prefer one or the other and just choose which design i like best.

though thats always remedied cuz i buy both versions and play one as a dude and the other as a girl.
so far i was always correct on the gender to the games.

i think she might be X and the guy Y. shes red and the pokemon's blue while the boy is vice versa.

Same! I'll generally start with the boy trainer (as that's what I am) and then play as female in the remake (Emerald, Platinum, White 2 etc) although I enjoy the female designs a lot better.

I heard there might be character customization in the new games though, so who knows what I'll play as >.< whoever has the best clothes I guess

I just get really nitpicky with the designs. some generations i like both or one or the other. like in the johto remakes i dont like lyra. her outfit looks funky. that and i saw someone post a pic that described her clothes as mario and hello kitty crossover.

that'll be really cool! The only times the trainers clothes had changed was in the special buildings, pokeathelon or the contest building.

Maybe there will be a plot twist where Yveltal actually IS the female trainer, and Xerneas is the male trainer! *gasp*
